This qualification is OFQUAL Recognised. It aims to provide Learners with the knowledge and skills to carry out the recognised skin analysis and assessment treatments in today’s market.
Career pathway
Achievement of CIBTAC Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Cosmetic Practice will provide the progression to the study of beauty therapy and aesthetic treatments at Level 4, for example IQ Verify Level 4 in Skin Rejuvenation Techniques for Aesthetic Practitioners. It also opens the door for a wider range of beauty and aesthetic procedures including Level 4 Laser & Light for Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation and Face and Body Electrotherapies.
Entry Level requirements
Entry requirements- None, however it is preferable for the candidate to have GCSE Mathematics and English A*-C or equivalent.

Areas Of Study
The course is structured to give the learners a thorough understanding of health and safety and client care and communication. These will compliment the practical training units which allow learners to have an enhanced ability in performing skin analysis and obtaining a complete understanding of beauty therapy science. The optional units develop the learners understanding of anatomy and physiology of the skin and body.
